Heroes of Scotland

Rascals and warriors!

There are many resources on the web to seek information on these Scottish greats, so we will not try to compete with those who dedicated time and effort to share information on them.  Below are some that we will continue to update:

Topping our list is Sir Andrew deMoray (Moray).  It is unfortunate that there are less works and records on his exploits, but from what we have read, he rivals or outmatches William Wallace.  This is only our opinion, but he was a great contributor to Scottish history.  The rest below made significant contributions to Scotland where others impacted the world.

  • Sir Andrew de Moray
  • Sir William Wallace
  • Sir Walter Scott
  • King Robert Bruce
  • The Black Douglas (Good Sir James Douglas)
  • Rob Roy (MacGregor)
  • Flora MacDonald
  • Alexander Graham Bell
  • James Clerk Maxwell
  • John Logie Baird
